Kripalu Vinyasa Class

This class is a combination of Level 1 (Gentle) and Level 2 (Intermediate) Kripalu Vinyasa.  The main focus is on movement and stretching with brief holdings.  The class ends with a short meditation.​

Kripalu Vinyasa 
The Kripalu methodology for vinyasa has three levels:  Level 1 (gentle), Level 2 (intermediate), and Level 3 (vigorous).  Each level incorporates mindful movement that's sometimes slower than the more traditional vinyasa or power yoga.  Transitioning smoothly from one posture to the next in a seamless flow, that also incorporates brief holdings.  This practice encourages mindful exploration of pranayama, asanas and meditation.  An ideal class for students looking for a practice that is inclusive of a well balanced synthesis of challenging and calming elements.

Intermediate Kripalu Yoga
A well-rounded class that will help to release tension, activate energy, develop muscle strength and endurance, improve balance, co-ordination, concentration and flexibility.  This practice is a bridge between gentle and vigorous yoga, and though not designed as a beginners class, allows for the postures to be modified, for people new to yoga.  Everyone is encouraged to move within their own abilities and range of motion.

 is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. The class   focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple   dance moves then building into more complex   sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout.

SilverSneakers Circuit

Circuit offers standing low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper body work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and ball.

Circuit focuses on the benefits of a circuit format to improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, as well as range of motion, resulting in functional improvements in posture, balance, weight transfer activities, coordination, agility and body awareness.  This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level, for participants who have a desire for more cardiovascular and muscular endurance conditioning and have above baseline proficiencies in agility, balance and coordination. 

   Yoga Nidra - Seasonal, classes in the Fall and Winter

Settling on a yoga mat or chair, using props such as blankets, eye pillow, neck pillow etc., allowing for complete comfort and ease.    This conscious relaxation practice is intended to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Chair Yoga
This class is suitable for most fitness levels and provides a safe form of exercise.  It works well for people new to yoga, healing from an injury, for people with poor balance, have physical limitations, for anyone who has difficulty getting down and up from the floor, or have problems with kneeling. In this class you will receive not only the physical benefits of yoga postures, increased flexibility and mobility, improved muscle strength, better breath control but also the more quiet and meditative aspects of breath awareness and guided relaxation.  The chair is used for seated movement as well as for support in standing stretches.
